Surface Microprocessing AISI-O1 by Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser

چکیده

Due to tedious and time-consuming work put into the conventional mold/die microprocessing (about 37% of total time entire production). Therefore, improve or enhance quality mold/dies at final step with a less number trained skilled operators decrease processing cut overall cost dramatically, AISI-O1 cold steel was micro-processed by Pulsed Nd: YAG laser. The influence laser parameters on evolution correlated surface morphology investigated 3D profilometer, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), optical (OM). results show that when specimens were irradiated various parameters, changed correspondingly. It also demonstrates different kinds could be established successfully satisfy later practical requirements for given Meanwhile, effect relevant temperature described, field proposed. reveals pulse feed rate more prominent than other morphology.
